Eunji Yang is a professional dancer and ballet teacher from Seoul, South Korea, now based in Essen, Germany. She is the founder of Body.On, a space created to share the joy, discipline, and artistry of ballet with a broader audience, welcoming both beginners and experienced dancers.
She began her dance training at SunHwa Arts School and graduated in Dance from Ewha University in Seoul. Her skills were further developed at the Universal Ballet Academy, Kirov Ballet School in Washington D.C., and through training with the Korean National Ballet Company.
Eunji started her stage career in 2005 with the Seoul Ballet Theater and moved to Germany in 2011. She has since danced with companies such as Anhaltisches Theater Dessau, Theater Hagen, Staatstheater Augsburg, and MIR Dance Company at Musiktheater im Revier, working with a variety of choreographers and styles.
Since 2022, she has dedicated herself to freelance teaching, sharing her ballet expertise with a focus on inclusivity and body awareness. She’s currently a guest teacher at Theater Münster and also teaches at schools like Korea Youth Ballet Stars, Ballettschule Heidi Sievert, Ballettschule Bunzel, and Ballettschule Ballerita. Through Body.On, Eunji fosters a welcoming space where dancers can grow, move freely, and reconnect with their bodies.
